Overview of Turkey’s Real Estate Market October 2023

According to the official statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, housing sales across Turkey decreased by 8.7% in October compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 93,761.

Housing sales to foreigners decreased by 52.9% in October compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 2,535. The share of housing sales to foreigners in total housing sales in October was 2.7%. Antalya took the first place in housing sales to foreigners with 931 house sales, followed by Istanbul with 758 house sales and Mersin with 294 house sales.

In October, citizens of Russia bought 713 houses in Turkey. Russian citizens were followed by Iranian citizens with 235 houses, Germany with 152 houses, and Ukrainian citizens with 138 houses, respectively.
